一、API 定位:puter.ai 模块中的 txt2img

在 Puter 的 JavaScript SDK 中,所有 AI 能力聚合在puter.ai命名空间下,txt2imgchat(对话)、img2txt(OCR)、speech2txt(语音转文字)、txt2speech(文字转语音)、txt2vid(文生视频)并列,构成完整的 AI 模块。从 src/puter-js/src/modules/ai/index.js 可以看到,AIModule类将各功能实现函数绑定为公开方法:

其中txt2img的实现位于 src/puter-js/src/modules/ai/image.js,通过makeDriverMethod调用后端puter-image-generation接口(driver 名ai-image,方法名generate):

也就是说,一次txt2img()调用实际走的是:SDK 参数归一化 → HTTP 请求后端ai-image驱动 → 驱动按模型路由到具体供应商 → 返回图片 → SDK 将响应转换成HTMLImageElement。平台方(Puter Cloud)或自托管部署者在前端几乎无需关心供应商差异。

二、语法与三种调用形式

txt2img支持三种等价写法(官方文档 Syntax 节):

puter.ai.txt2img(prompt, testMode = false) puter.ai.txt2img(prompt, options = {}) puter.ai.txt2img({ prompt, ...options })

从 SDK 源码 image.js 可以还原参数解析逻辑:

  • 第一个参数为字符串时,作为prompt;为对象时,整个对象作为options(对象内必须含prompt);
  • 第二个参数为布尔值时视为testMode,为对象时视为options并与第一个字符串prompt合并;
  • 若最终缺少prompt,SDK 会抛出{ message: 'Prompt parameter is required', code: 'prompt_required' }

值得注意的是,SDK 支持通过options.driver显式指定驱动名(例如'openai-image-generation''gemini-image-generation''xai-image-generation'等),否则默认走'ai-image'聚合驱动;后端 ImageGenerationDriver.ts 通过driverAliases将这些供应商驱动名全部映射到同一驱动实现上,再按modelprovider参数路由到具体上游。

三、参数详解

3.1 基础参数

参数类型必填说明
promptString用于生成图像的文本描述
testMode/test_modeBooleantrue时走测试 API,返回示例图片而不消耗 API 额度,便于调试代码;默认false

test_mode(snake_case)是 driver 侧标准拼写,SDK 的testMode(camelCase)会被转换为同一语义。后端各供应商 Provider(如 BytePlusImageProvider.ts 的if (test_mode)分支)会在测试模式下短路返回固定示例图,不产生计费。

3.2 options 通用选项

options中除prompt外的通用字段如下(各供应商还有专属字段,见下文):

6.1 服务端落盘流程

从后端 ImageGenerationDriver.ts 可以看到puter_output_path的处理是先于计费进行的:

  1. 驱动从args中取出并删除puter_output_path
  2. 校验调用方身份(必须存在userIdusername,否则 400User ID required for puter_output_path);
  3. #resolveOutputPath()解析目标路径并调用#assertWriteAccess()预先校验写权限——权限不足时直接拒绝,避免白消耗额度;
  4. 上游生成成功后再#saveToFS()写入文件系统。

6.2 SDK 侧的路径归一化

SDK 在 image.js 中会先调用getAbsolutePathForApp()将相对路径转换为基于 App 数据目录的绝对路径再发送,保证服务端按绝对路径处理。

6.3 测试验证

仓库测试 src/puter-js/test/txt2img.test.js 覆盖了puter_output_path的完整行为矩阵:

  • 相对路径:写入后puter.fs.stat()验证文件存在且size > 0
  • 绝对路径/username/AppData/...形式可正常写入;
  • ~home 相对路径:写入后按~/username替换解析验证;
  • 权限拒绝:写入/some_other_user/no_access/image.png时抛出真实后端错误(断言错误消息不包含Unexpected image response format、错误码不等于invalid_image_response),确保 SDK 不会把后端权限错误吞成通用格式错误。

此外,集成测试 ai.suite.ts 中txt2img resolves a relative output path against the caller用例同样验证了相对路径按调用方身份解析的行为。

七、返回值

txt2img()返回一个Promise<HTMLImageElement>。图片元素的src指向包含图像数据的 data URL(或供应商返回的资源 URL)。

从 media.js 的toImageElement()可以看出 SDK 如何把驱动返回的多种载荷形态统一成图片元素:

其中resultToUrl()依次识别字符串 URL、BlobArrayBuffer、类Response对象(arrayBuffer()方法)以及带asset_url/url/href字段的托管资源对象;无法识别时抛出invalid_image_response错误。同时 SDK 为toString()/valueOf()覆写了返回src的行为,方便在 Node.js 或 Worker(无 DOM 环境)中直接取 URL 字符串使用。

八、错误处理

Promise 被拒绝时携带后端返回的错误体:{ message, code },当存在更具体的错误码时还会附带errorCode字段。

Code含义与处理建议
errorCode: moderation_flagged模型的内容过滤器拒绝了提示词或生成的图像。以 HTTP 400(code: bad_request)返回。应修改提示词而不是原样重试。并非所有供应商都会明确上报拒绝,上报时即以该码标识
upstream_failed供应商已接受请求但生成在其侧失败,可安全重试
insufficient_funds余额不足以覆盖估算的图像成本,以 HTTP 402 返回

其他upstream_*类错误码表示供应商拒绝请求或不可用,message字段携带供应商给出的具体原因。错误码体系在仓库中可查证:insufficient_funds定义于 HttpError.ts(HTTP 402 语义),moderation_flagged在 AI 驱动的上游错误归一化逻辑(如 OpenAIUtil.js)中被映射为bad_request
