Deep Dive：为什么 “paint” 会涂上颜色？

paint这个词本意是"油漆"，在篮球里指禁区，因为那块区域在球场上被涂成了不同的颜色（通常是蓝色或其他对比色），目的是让裁判和球员清楚哪里是三秒违例区（防守球员不能在禁区站超过3秒，进攻球员也不能）。

所以你会听到：

• “He’s dominating in the paint.”—— 他在禁区统治比赛。
• “Points in the paint”—— 禁区得分（一项重要统计）。

key是 paint 的另一个说法，来自早期球场设计——禁区加上罚球圈确实像一把钥匙的形状。现代球场禁区变成了长方形，但 key 这个词保留了下来。

位置术语的实战用法

1.Elbow（肘区）= 战术枢纽

肘区是高位挡拆、手递手传球、中距离投篮的核心位置。你会听到：

“He catches it at theelbow, jab steps, pulls up for the jumper.”

翻译：他在肘区接球，虚晃一下，急停跳投。

2.Wing vs. Corner：投手的两个家

三分射手最爱的两个位置：

• Wing（侧翼 45度角）：空间大，更容易接球投篮。
• Corner（底角）：三分线最短的地方（22英尺，其他地方23.75英尺），命中率最高，但容易被夹击。

3.Block（低位）= 大个子的办公室

篮下两侧各有一块小方块标记，叫block，是中锋和大前锋要位（post up）的位置。
